Ithikkara River

Ithikkara River is one of the important rivers in Kollam District of Kerala. This 56 km long river originates near Ponmudi in Thiruvananthapuram District.

It traverses through Pathanapuram, Kottarakkara and Kollam before merging with the Paravur Canal. Ithikkara village, about 15 km from Kollam, is on the banks of this river.
