Ishurvara is a village situated atop a hill on the Vindhyachal ranges. Located about 25 km from
Sagar, this village is a major Jain center and houses one of the ancient Jain temples in
Madhya Pradesh.
The major attraction at Ishurvara is a magnificent temple known as Ishurvara Jain Temple. Rath Yatra and Nirvan Festival are the main festivals celebrated here. This temple houses the 9 ft high idol of Bhagwan Shantinath. Accommodation facilities are available at Ishurvara for the pilgrims.
