Irshal, an ideal peak for trekking, lies near Chowk village in
Raigad District of
Maharashtra. With a height of 370 m, it stands guard over the
Mumbai-
Pune National Highway. It is locally known as Vishalgad.
To reach the peak, take a bus from Karjat to Chowk village, which is 9 km away. A short walk through the village leads to Nanivle village and the climb begins from here.
