International Flower Festival is organized in
Sikkim, during the month of March-May. Sikkim is home to a wide variety of plants and flowers. Rare species of orchids, trees and ferns, gladioli, rhododendrons, magnolias and many other foliage plants are exhibited. Lectures, seminars and food festival are also conducted during the festival. A similar flower festival is also held once a year in
Namchi, the headquarters of
South Sikkim District.
