Established in 1994 at
Manipal, the International Centre for Applied Sciences (ICAS) offers first two years of the undergraduate course in engineering on an international curriculum. After the successful completion of the course, the students pursue the last two years in a foreign university. The foreign university awards the degree.
Partner universities of ICAS are Purdue University, University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, John Hopkins University, University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, University of California-Berkeley, Virginia Tech, Texas A and M, Deakin University (Australia) and City University (UK).
ICAS offers two-year engineering courses in architecture, aviation, biomedical, computer, electronics and communication, electrical and electronics, industrial, mechanical, and civil.
