Institute of Rural Management (IRMA) was established in 1979 in
Anand District,
Gujarat, with a mission to promote professional management of democratic and sustainable institutions for eco-friendly and equitable socio-economic development of rural people. The main programs offered are doctoral level program titled the Fellow Program in Rural Management (FPRM), Post-Graduate Program in Rural Management (PRM), management development programs, research and consultancy. Situated on a 65-acre landscaped site adjacent to the Anand Campus of Gujarat Agricultural University, the institute has a world-class campus facility. The facilities include students’ hostels, mess, lecture halls, seminar rooms, library, auditorium, executive training and development centre, and computer center.
