Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports is situated at
Solang Nullah, 13 km north of
Manali, in
Himachal Pradesh.
The institute offers basic, intermediate, and advanced all-inclusive 14-day courses. Training in hiking, mountaineering, skiing, water sports and mountain rescues are provided.
The institute offers sports equipments, food and dormitory for students. Equipments required for trekking and hiking can also be hired from here.
The institute has a branch at Dharamsala.
