Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition is situated in VSS Nagar in
Bhubaneswar. Established in 1973, this institute offers career education programs in the field of hotel management. It is affiliated to the National Council for Hotel Management,
New Delhi.
Courses include Bachelor of Science (BSc) in hospitality and hotel management, postgraduate diploma in accommodation operation management, craftsmanship course in food and beverage service and certificate course in food production.
It has all the facilities of a hotel management institute for developing the ability and personality of students. Operational and periodical training during vacations are provided. Compulsory practical training for 22 weeks is given to the second year students.
In spite of regular academic programs, this institute renders technical advice to hotels, catering industries and other organizations. Activities to help the hoteliers and caterers are also undertaken.
