The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India is situated on Sudder Street,
Kolkata. It was established in 1944 and is the only professionally accepted organization in India concentrating in Cost and Management Accountancy. The institute promotes and develops the profession of Cost Accountancy. Seminars and conferences on the subject are conducyed regularly.
