Institute of Archaeology at
New Delhi was established by Archaeological Survey of India.
The institute offers a Postgraduate Diploma in Archaeology. Courses conducted by the institute also cover areas such as excavation, exploration, Geology, Anthropology, Vertebrate Zoology, Palaeobotany, Elementary Chemistry, and ancient and medieval architecture of India.
