Institute for Social and Economic Change

Started in 1972 by the late Professor V K R V Rao, Institute for Social and Economic Change is situated in a sylvan 16-hectare campus at Nagarbhavi. The institute carries out inter-disciplinary research in analytical and applied areas of social sciences, encompassing diverse aspects of development. Accommodation facility includes hostels for students, guest house for visiting scholars and residential facility for 77 faculty and staff of the Institute. Seminar halls and a 300-seater auditorium are also available.
