Indra Puja, also known as Indra Parab, is an important festival celebrated at
Bishnupur in
Bankura District of
West Bengal.
The festival falls in the month of Bhadra (August-September). On this festive occasion, the Malla Raja of Bishnupur gives yellow turbans to local Santal chiefs.
