Established in 1954 by the Tibetan Lama Dhardo Rimpoche, Indo-Tibetan Buddhist Cultural Institute (ITBCI) School is situated at
Kalimpong, in
West Bengal. Apart from general education, students are trained in Tibetan language, traditional Tibetan drawing, music, and dance. The school curriculum involves co-curricular activities aimed to develop the creative skills of the students.
