Inbuan is a traditional sport of
Mizoram. It has some similarity with the technique used in Combat Wrestling. Inbuan takes place on a carpet or grass and within a circle, 15 to 16 ft in diameter. It is a game testing sheer physical strength and skill of the participants.
Two participants take part in this contest. The contestant, who succeeds in lifting his opponent off the ground, is declared as the winner of the game. There are three rounds before the judgment. Each round is conducted for 30 to 60 second duration. Stepping outside the circle and kicking are not permitted.
