Idaichuranathar Temple




Idaichuranathar Temple is one of the 275 Shiva Sthalams in Tamil Nadu. It is located at Tiruvidaichuram in Kanchipuram District. The principal deity of the temple is Lord Shiva in the form of Idaichuranathar. There is a worship place for Goddess Imayamadakodi in the temple. The temple is famoust for its shiny and transparent Maragatha Shivling. The temple theertham is Madura theertham. Sage Sambandar is said to have composed pathigams in favour of the Lord Idaichuranathar.
