IHRD College of Applied Sciences is located at
Adoor in
Pathanamthitta District. It was established in 1995 by the Institute of Human Resources Development (IHRD), one of the spear heading agencies in the state’s technological education.
Affiliated to University of Kerala, the college offers degree courses in various subjects including electronics and computer science. The college library has a good collection of relevant books and periodicals. Science and Environment Association (SEA), sports club, arts club and NSS unit are very energetic here. There is also a placement cell functioning.
Adoor is about 60 km south of Kottayam and 20 km north of Kottarakara.
