Situated on the left bank of
Yamuna River in Kachhpura village, Humayun's Mosque was constructed in 1530. Built of brick and mortar, the building is one of the earliest monuments of the
Mughal period. There are two carved inscriptions in Persian style.
The mosque is now in ruined condition. Only the sanctuary is in its original form. Five arches on the facade, kite-shaped pendent supporting the central dome are the attractions of the mosque.
