Holuva are the tribal groups found in the block of Korukonda in
Malkangiri District. It is believed that they had originally migrated from
Bastar District. They use holuva language which is understood by those who speak Oriya. Apart from
Orissa, Holuva are also seen in
Chhattisgarh and
Madhya Pradesh. These people preserve a unique culture and distinct traditions. They are known to maintain peace and unity in their life.
