Hojai, renowned as the granary of
Assam, is a charming town situated 61 km south of
Nagaon.
It is the principal wholesale rice market in the state and is famous as the seat of Agar perfume industry in the country. Major attractions nearby are the ancient sites of Jugijan and Navanga village.
Hojai is 180 km north-west of Guwahati. Nearest airport is at Guwahati.
