High Commission of Malaysia in India has been set up with the purpose of extending both routine and emergency services to Malaysian citizens residing or in transit in India and to ensure their overall security and welfare whilst in the country. The High Commission is located at
Chanakyapuri, the diplomatic enclave of
New Delhi.
The Embassy’s functions include issuing emergency passports and immigrant and non-immigrant visas, notarization and attestation, offering consultancy services for commercial ventures, representing its citizens while talking to local authorities, offering them assistance in case of emergencies and purveying necessary tourist and local information for the needy.
Indira Gandhi International Airport is 15 km to the north-west of Chanakyapuri. The Malaysian High Commission is about 10 km to the south-west of New Delhi Railway Station and is around 12 km from the Interstate Bus Stand at Kashmiri Gate.
