Higginbothams

Higginbothams is the oldest bookshop in India. It was started in 1844 by Abel Joshua Higginbotham who was the then Librarian of the Wesleyan Book Depository. It holds all academic books for schools, colleges and other higher seats of learning. The present building was constructed in 1904 at Mount Road.
