Hermanla




Hermanla is a beautiful hamlet located in Leh District. It is at an altitude of about 4,850 m above sea level. The place is inhabited by nomadic people, popularly known as Khampas, employed in rearing of goats, cows and yaks. Tso Kar, also known as White Lake, is a nearby attraction.

The region also offers many short treks and hikes to upland villages. Exploring Hermanla would be a delightful experience for nature lovers and trekkers.

Hermanla can be approached from Rachungkaru, by an ascent of about 150 m through the Rachungkaru Pass.
