Hatta is an historical village located in
Balaghat District of
Madhya Pradesh. During the reign of British, the village was center of a powerful Zamindari.
Places of tourist interest are an ancient temple and the 17th century Bawali, built by King Gond of Devgad. The north-eastern course of the Deo River flows through this village.
Hatta is about 30 km from Balaghat. The nearest broad-gauge railway station is at Gondiya. By road, the village is linked with Balaghat, Seoni and Mandla.
