Hatgad Fort

Hatgad Fort, 3,600 ft high, is one of the prominent forts in Nasik District, located near Mulher. It lies at the crest of the Sahyadris and is close to the district’s border with Gujarat.

The fort is accessible through a narrow passage, carved out in rock. There are two reservoirs, namely, Jamna and Ganga, which supply excellent drinking water throughout the year.

The fort overlooks Suragana and is six kilometers away from Saputara in Gujarat.
