Harsha Mahadeva Temple




Harsha Mahadev Temple is an architectural landmark situated at Harsha village in Sikar District of Rajasthan. Harsha lies 14 km south-east of Sikar.

This ancient Shiva temple stands as an example for the architectural style of the middle 10th century. Now, it stands roofless and ruined. It is built on pancha-ratha plan; consist of a sanctum, vestibule, a pillared hall with lateral transepts and a porch. The temple also has a magnificent ornamental entrance.

Close to the temple is a new temple built by Rao Raja Shir Singh.
