Harmuti is located in
Lakhimpur District of
Assam. It is about 23 km from Naharlagun and 33 km from
Itanagar. It lies near
Bihpuria.
Forest department has constructed an observation tower here. Other attractions are the coffee and rubber plantations of the nearby Karbi Anglong and the tea gardens of Hatikhuli and Methoni.
