Lying at a distance of about 100 km from
Nahan, Haripur Dhar is famous for a fort built by the rulers of the erstwhile Sirmaur State. The fort stands here to guard the state frontiers. The site of the fort remains is at
Kharotiyon.
Haripur Dhar can be easily approached from Andheri (25 km) on foot or on ponies. Andheri is in Sangrah, around 75 km from Nahan.
