Hangnar is a village in
Kupwara District of
Jammu and Kashmir. It is about 7,093 ft above sea level and is about 101 km from the state capital -
Srinagar. Hangnar is connected with Bahamur in the west, Muri Baihk in the north, Gundi Zun Reshi in the east and
Rangwar in the south. Rugged mountains, wide expanses of green turf and small hillocks make this region most appealing.
Hangnar can be accessed from Drangyari and by road.
