Halog is located in Shimla District of Himachal Pradesh. It lies a few kilometers off the Shimla-Mandi road and is about 22 km north-west of Shimla, the district headquarters.
Halog was the erstwhile capital of the princely state of Dhami. A dilapidated palace is situated here. Pathar-Ka-Khel-Halog, a fair conducted here, attracts scores of visitors.
