Haliapur is a small town situated in Sultanpur District on the state highway. It lies north of Sultanpur, the district headquarters. Nearby towns are Dhanesa and Jagdishpur to the west, Mirmau and Amaniganj to the north, Milkipur to the east and Musafirkhana and Isauli to the south.
Haliapur is easily accessible by road from Sultanpur via Isauli. Sultanpur Railway Station is the nearest railway station. The nearest airport is Amausi Airport.
