About 2 km west of
Phagwara in
Kapurthala District, Hadiabad is one of the beautiful villages in
Punjab. This village is considered as a sacred place as
Guru Hargobind, the sixth Sikh guru had stayed here in 1635.
Gurdwara Chhevin Patshahl is the major point of attraction at Hadiabad. This historical shrine is a three storied structure with an octagonal domed pavilion. The Holy Guru Granth Sahib is kept in the main hall. Besides daily worship, all major Sikh festivals are celebrated here with pomp and splendor. Large numbers of devotees throng Hadiabad to offer their services at this gurdwara. Vishwakarma Temple and Mansa Devi Mandir are nearby attractions.
