Gyan Bhandar


Situated within the Jaisalmer Fort, Gyan Bhandar is an old library established in 1500 AD by Acharya Maharaj Jin Bhadra Suri. The library has more than 1,000 old manuscripts and astrological charts. The library also houses a collection of Jain, Pre-Mughal and Rajput paintings, and images of Parsvanath made of ivory and various precious stones.
