Gurdwara Qila Anandgarh Sahib

Gurdwara Qila Anandgarh Sahib, one of the five forts constructed by Guru Gobind Singh, is situated at Anandpur Sahib, in Punjab. Built to protect the Sikhs from the hill Rajas or Mughals, all the five forts situated all around the town were joined together with earthworks and underground tunnels.

Gurdwara Qila Anandgarh Sahib is situated about 800 m south-east of Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib. It is a newly constructed building though marks of the old, original structure are also still traceable. The entire wall surface has a facing of streaked marble. There are flights of steps which lead up to a small fort and another which leads to a gated holy well.

Gurdwara Qila Anandgarh Sahib can be reached by bus from Anandpur Sahib Bus Station. Anandpur Sahib Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
