Gurdwara Gurplah is located at
Sontran in
Nawan Shehar District in
Punjab. It has been built to preserve the memory of the visit of
Guru Hargobind Sahib. It is said that Guru Sahib had rested here under a Plah tree for a while, hence the name of the shrine as Gurdwara Gurplah.
The present building of this gurdwara was erected in 1960s replacing the older small structure. An old well, which is believed to be from the time of Gur Sahib, can be found here. This gurdwara is also known as Gurdwara Gurplah Patshahi Chhevin.
