Located on the banks of the Budha Nala stream and situated about a kilometer from Samrala Chowk in
Ludhiana, Gurdwara Gau Ghat is built on the site where Guru Nanak performed a miracle and delivered religious discourses. Early 16th century, Guru Nanak visited this place. During his visit, Ludhiana was in danger of being flooded as the Sutlej River was overflowing. Devotees believe that the river changed its direction because of the spiritual powers of the Guru. The Gurdwara celebrates Prakash Utsav and Baisakhi festival with pomp and fanfare.
