Gurdwara Bala Sahib is situated on the
Outer Ring Road in
New Delhi. This gurdwara was built in honor of the eighth Sikh guru, Guru Harkrishan Sahib, who passed away at the tender age of eight. This gurdwara is built at the site where he was cremated and preserves the precious memories of the guru.
It is also sacred because Mata Sundri and Mata Sahib Kaur were also cremated here. The samadhi of Mata Sahib Kaur, a small marble room, is in the main hall of the Gurdwara, whereas that of Mata Sundri is outside the new Gurdwara building.
