Associated with Guru Harkishen Sahib, the sixth Sikh Guru, Gurdwara Bala Sahib is a famous
gurdwara located at Bhagwan Nagar in
New Delhi. This gurdwara houses the
Samadhi of the guru.
Guru Harkishen Sahib was popularly known as Bala Pir. During the epidemic of small pox and cholera, the guru took care of the people of the region and contracted the disease himself.
The gurdwara is home also to the Angithas of Mata Sahib Kaur Ji and Mata Sundri Ji.
