Gurdwara Arisar Sahib is situated in the Sangrur district of Punjab, between villages Handiya and Dhaula. It is believed that while
Guru Tegh Bahadur was passing through Handiyaya village in the year A.D. 1665, his horse stopped and refused to shunt because of the smell of tobacco that was grown in the village. The Gurdwara Arisar Sahib was built in memory of this event. Shahidi Divas of Guru Tegh Bahadur is celebrated in this Gurdwara.
