Guptsar Gurdwara is located near
Chhatiana in
Muktsar District. This place is associated with
Gobind Singh Sahib as he distributed salaries to his soldiers here.
One day a soldier refused to take money, saying that he needed only spiritual guidance. After enriching the soldier with his words, Guru kept the money at some 'gupt' (secret) place. Then after, this place came to be known as Guptsar.
