Gupta Bhimesh is a beautiful place located about 110 km from
Pune, in the eastern part of the famous
Bhimashankar Temple. Legends say that this region has some connection with Bhim, the strongest among the
Pandavas. It is believed that the place holds a hidden
shivling, not visible to the eyes.
Sloping rock faces and darkish greenery contribute to the scenic beauty. The famous Shivneri fort is located nearby.
