Started in 1911 by the British as a summer resort, Gulmarg Golf Club is the highest green golf course in India. It is an 18-hole course with a par of 72. The club offers temporary membership, including one-day memberships. The membership allows one to use the clubhouse and restaurant facilities. The Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation now manages the club.
