Gulbarga Jain Temples

Gulbarga Jain Temples are situated in the great ancient Jain city called Gulbarga in Karnataka. At present there is only one Digambar temple at Mahavir Chowk and one Shwetambar temple in Kirana Bazaar. Both temples are devoted to Bhagvan Mahavir. These were great Jain centers in 9th century during the period of the Rashtrakuta dynasty.

Gulbarga is 60 km from Humnabad (another famous Jain center) and 584 km from Bangalore. The nearest railway station and airport are Gulbarga Railway Station and Hyderabad Airport (220 km) respectively.
