Gujarra




Gujarra is a picturesque hamlet situated in the Datia District of Madhya Pradesh. Numerous inscriptions of Ashoka, the Indian emperor, who embraced and preached Buddhism after Kalinga War, are seen in this place. Sonagiri, Sun Temple, Buglamukhi Devi Temple, Badoni, Satkhanda-Mahal are the main tourist spots around Gujarra. Gujarra, the serene and sedate village, is around 17 km from Datia. Gwalior Airport is the nearest airport. Datia Railway Station, on the Delhi-Mumbai main line, is the closest major railway station.
