Grande Island is an ideal diving site in
South Goa and is situated just a short boat ride from the
Bogmalo Beach. The island offers unspoilt dive sites between 8 to 15 m depth and an average visibility of 7 m. The site is abundant with marine life. The presence of wrecks of Spanish and Portuguese galleons, and a ship dating back to World War II adds its exotic flavor.
Other sites of interest near the island include Suzy's Wreck, Davy Jones’ Locker, Sail Rock, Turbo Tunnel, Surge City, Uma Guma Reef and Bounty Bay.
Goa Airport is about 4 km from the Bogmalo Beach.
