Grampi is a picturesque hill station located in
Idukki District of
Kerala. It is also known as Parunthupara (eagle rock) because of the panoramic view from its high peaks.
Rocky plains, lush hillsides, forests and trekking trails add charm to this place. Unending stretches of cardamom, tea and coffee plantations lead to Grampi.
One can see Makara Jyothi, the holy lamp, during the festival season in Sabarimala.
To reach Grampi take a deviation from Peermade, which is on the National Highway 220. Grampi is 5 km from Peermade and 10 km from Vandiperiyar.
Kottayam Railway Station is about 85 km. Cochin International Airport is the nearest railhead.
