Gozzangwa Monastery

Gozzangwa Monastery is situated at Khardong village in Lahaul and Spiti District, Himachal Pradesh. It is dedicated to Lama Gozzangwa. One can see rock carvings of the pre-Christian era outside the monastery. The Prime attraction of the monastery are the Chhortens (receptacle of relics.) Khardong Monastery and Shashur Monastery are nearby attractions. Khardong can be accessed from Keylong (5 km.) Nearest airport is the Kullu Manali Airport at Bhuntar. Joginder Nagar Railway Station is the nearest major railway station.
