Government Narmada Mahavidyalaya is one of the premiere educational institutions in
Hoshangabad,
Madhya Pradesh. Hoshangabad is about 75 km south-east of
Bhopal.
The college was established in 1954 by the Narmada Education Society. It came under the control of the State Government on the 1st July 1972. Affiliated to Barkatullah University at Bhopal, the college offers post graduate courses in the fields of art, science and commerce.
The college building consists of a reading room and a well-equipped library. Extra-curricular activities including sports day, meetings and career talks are organized.
