Started in 1990, Government Museum is a multi-purpose establishment located in
Coimbatore, one of the major industrial cities of south India. It showcases an assortment of specimens relating to art, archaeology, anthropology, numismatics, botany, zoology and geology.
Visitors are allowed on all days from 9:30 to 17:00 hrs except Fridays, second Saturdays and public holidays.
