Government Maharani Laxmi Bai Girls' P. G. College was established on July 9, 1956. It is approved by the Government of Madhya Pradesh and the
University Grants Commission. It is popularly known as MLB. Total strength of the college is approximately 3,000 students. The college offers courses in Arts, Science, Commerce and Home Science. It has 23 subjects at the under graduate level. The college also has a library.
