Gourishankar Temple




Gourishankar Temple is a mystical Shiva temple situated near the famous Khatu Shyamji Mandir, Sikar. Legend says that Mughal emperor Aurangzeb’s soldiers attacked the shivlinga of this temple with a spear. Fountains of blood appeared from the shivlinga and the soldiers ran away, terrified.

The temple is 17 km from Ringas, which is the nearest railhead.
